The Volvo Ocean Race approached us to rebrand their final award for this edition. Their request was to emphasize water without overtly resembling it. Our solution involved creating a system to abstractly visualize water, which was further developed into a real-time data visualization. This dynamic representation highlighted each leg of the race from city to city.
To achieve this, we gathered data exported from the boats, utilizing it to visualize the boat's position, wave length, speed, temperature, and various other inputs.
